Client Services Our firm offers a wide range of services to our individual and business clients. Because our firm is relatively small, our clients benefit by getting personalized, quality service that is beyond comparison. Below we have listed the services that we offer to our clients along with a brief description.

As the list below is by no means all-inclusive, please feel free to inquire about a service if you do not see it listed. If it is not a service we provide, we would be more than happy to refer you to another qualified professional.

Business Valuation

Wallace & Associates values companies for a multitude of purposes, including estate and gift tax, minority shareholder actions, buy/sell agreements, marital dissolutions, mergers and acquisitions, charitable contributions, eminent domain actions, and employee stock ownership plans.

We use a variety of valuation methodologies. We employ income approaches (including discounted cash flow and capitalization of earnings) and the market approach (comparative public company method for larger companies, and comparison to sales transactions for small to medium sized companies), and the cost approach (typically for asset-holding companies, such as family limited partnerships).

Depending on the valuation assignment, we may need to secure valuations (appraisals) of the company's underlying real estate, non-operating assets, and/or operating equipment. The need for an appraisal of the underlying assets may depend on whether the subject interest is a "controlling interest" valuation or a "minority interest" valuation.
